Story Time...

Caught a case of Nostalgia while listening to Mos Def's New Danger album



Setting: Middle School Locker room a few weeks after Christmas Holiday
Time:Gym Class
Story: I'm feeling good got my new chain, walkman cd player, and mos def (the new danger) cd all newly acquired gifts. The locker I used was pretty shady the back was coming off. Any person with a bit of common sense would have thought I probably shouldn't use this locker since it defeats the purpose of security but young gata wasn't thinking straight. Instead I through all my fresh gear in my backpack and went to class... I get back and get changed and then realize that all my new shit is gone. Of course I go to the teacher and he says "What do you want me to do about it?" I haven't worn a chain since then and never got another cd player either. I realized the worth of a chain is not greater than the immense feeling of disappoint and dismay that I felt after I got jacked. I'll stick to cheap handmade bracelets from the Caribbean, livestrong bands, and mp3 players.
